Deliciously chewy cookies with melted chocolate and pockets of sweet salted caramel, topped with a hint of sea salt.

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 ½ cups chocolate chips
  • ½ cup salted caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract, mixing until creamy.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and sea salt, then gradually combine with the wet ingredients.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips and salted caramel sauce until evenly distributed.
  6. Scoop portions of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving space for spreading.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden and centers look slightly underbaked. Let rest before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Allow cookies to cool before storing in an airtight container. They last up to a week at room temperature.
