  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • Optional: ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg or ginger

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
  3. Melt the unsalted butter in a medium saucepan over low heat.
  4. Mix in the granulated and brown sugars, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
