A hearty yet elegant seafood casserole featuring haddock, scallops, and shrimp in a rich Swiss cheese sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound haddock
  • 1 pound scallops
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cups Swiss cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Melt butter in a skillet and sauté onion and garlic until translucent (3-4 minutes).
  3. Stir in heavy cream and simmer for 5 minutes, then fold in Swiss cheese until melted.
  4. Fold in seafood and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Pour mixture into a greased baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and browned.
  6. Let the casserole rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

This dish can be made ahead of time and is delicious paired with a green salad and warm crusty bread.
