A comforting casserole blending rich flavors with tender ground beef and vibrant cabbage, perfect for family dinners or potlucks.

Ingredients

  • 5 grams paprika
  • 5 grams garlic powder
  • 15 millilitres Worcestershire sauce
  • 200 grams cooked rice
  • 410 grams canned diced tomatoes with juice
  • 1 small cabbage, shredded
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 450 grams ground beef

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 175°C.
  2. Start with the beef: brown the ground beef and onion in a skillet.
  3. Combine the ingredients: add cabbage, tomatoes, rice, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, and garlic powder.
  4. Simmer the mixture on low for about five minutes.
  5. Spoon the mixture into a baking dish and cover with foil.
  6. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until the cabbage is tender.
  7. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Consider adding shredded cheese on top during the last 5 minutes of baking. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
