This Quick Garlic Butter Chicken is a weeknight hero that delivers big flavor with very little fuss.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, trimmed of excess fat
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Pat the chicken dry with paper towels first if you want a better sear.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Watch carefully so the butter does not burn.
  3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Stir constantly to avoid browning the garlic too much.
  4. Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for about 6 to 7 minutes on each side, or until the chicken is fully cooked and golden brown.
  5. Remove from heat, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve immediately, spooning some of the garlic butter over the chicken before serving.

Notes

Pat chicken dry before seasoning to help browning. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
