Indulge in crunchy, cheesy pizza chips topped with savory mini pepperoni, perfect as a snack or party treat.

  • 150 grams shredded mozzarella cheese (low moisture)
  • 50 grams shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 0.25 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 60 grams mini pepperoni slices or chopped pepperoni
  • 2 tablespoons pizza sauce or marinara sauce (optional for drizzling)
  • Crumbled cooked bacon (optional)
  • Chopped black olives (optional)
  • Diced bell peppers (optional)
  • Sliced jalapenos (optional)
  • Dried oregano or basil for garnish (optional)
  • Various dipping options: marinara sauce, garlic butter, ranch dressing, spicy aioli

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (about 400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. Mix the shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and optional crushed red pepper flakes.
  3. Spoon approximately 15 grams of the cheese mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, flattening each mound slightly and spacing them at least 5 centimeters apart.
  4. Top each cheese disc with mini pepperoni slices and, if desired, add any small amounts of optional toppings.
  5. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbling and edges are golden brown.
  6. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and allow the chips to cool for 2 to 3 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
  7. Present the chips warm or at room temperature with your favorite dipping sauces.

Notes

For best results, use low-moisture mozzarella cheese for crispier chips. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
