These bite-sized Oreo Truffles are a creamy, chocolatey treat that impress every time, featuring a rich center of Oreo crumbs and cream cheese coated in glossy chocolate.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 36 regular Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 12 ounces semi-sweet or white chocolate, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon vegetable oil or coconut oil (optional)
  • Sprinkles (optional)
  • Oreo crumbs (for coating or garnish)
  • Additional melted chocolate (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Place the crushed Oreo cookies in a food processor and pulse into a fine crumb.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine Oreo crumbs with softened cream cheese and beat until smooth.
  3. Scoop out spoonfuls of the mixture, roll into balls, and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up.
  5. Melt the chocolate and optional oil in the microwave or double boiler until smooth.
  6. Let the chocolate cool slightly, then dip each truffle, ensuring it’s fully covered, and tap off excess.
  7. Optionally sprinkle with toppings while chocolate is wet.
  8. Refrigerate for another hour to set the chocolate.
  9. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

Notes

Work in a cool room to prevent melted chocolate from seizing. If chocolate thickens while dipping, gently rewarm a small portion and stir in the optional oil if needed.
