These fluffy and tender biscuits require just two ingredients, making them the perfect comforting treat for any meal or snack.

  • 2 cups self-rising flour
  • 1 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of self-rising flour with 1 cup of heavy cream and mix until a sticky dough forms.
  3. Lightly flour your work surface and transfer the dough onto it. Gently knead for about 30 seconds.
  4. Pat the dough into a rectangle approximately 1-inch thick, then cut out rounds using a biscuit cutter or glass.
  5. Place the biscuits on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for about 12-15 minutes until golden brown, or 8-10 minutes in an air fryer.
  7. Allow to cool for about 5 minutes before serving warm with butter, honey, or jam.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider using flavored heavy cream or adding cheese or herbs.
