Ingredients

  • 12 slices fresh ginger (or 1 teaspoon ginger powder)
  • 1 cinnamon stick (or 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon)
  • 1 tablespoon herbal tea blend (like chamomile or peppermint)
  • 12 teaspoons manuka honey
  • Juice of half a lemon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Gather your ingredients: fresh ginger, cinnamon, manuka honey, and herbal tea blend. Optionally include fresh lemon.
  2. Boil water in a pot over medium-high heat.
  3. Add ginger and cinnamon to boiling water and simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and steep the herbal tea blend for about 5 minutes.
  5. Strain the tea into a mug and add manuka honey while still warm.
  6. If desired, squeeze lemon juice into the tea.
  7. Sip slowly and enjoy the flavors.
