A refreshing drink combining ginger and lemon to boost metabolism and aid in digestion.

Ingredients

  • 12 inches Fresh Ginger (peeled and grated)
  • Juice of half a Lemon
  • 1 cup Warm Water

Instructions

  1. Wash and peel the ginger using a spoon.
  2. Grate the ginger to get about 1 tablespoon of grated ginger.
  3. Bring 1 cup of water to a gentle boil.
  4. Add grated ginger to the boiling water and steep for 5-10 minutes.
  5. Strain the ginger and pour the warm water into a cup.
  6. Squeeze in the juice of half a lemon and stir well.
  7. Enjoy the drink warm.

Notes

For variations, try adding mint, honey, or use sparkling water for a fizzy version.
