Homemade Cheesy Breadsticks

Delicious, soft, and buttery breadsticks topped with gooey mozzarella cheese, perfect for dipping in marinara sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Pizza Dough
  • 2 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle about ¼ inch thick.
  3. Melt the unsalted butter in a bowl and mix in garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Brush this over the rolled-out dough.
  4. Slice the dough into strips approximately one inch wide.
  5. Generously sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the dough strips.
  6. Place the parchment-lined baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool for a couple of minutes. Serve with marinara sauce or your favorite dip.

Notes

Experiment with different cheeses and spices for unique flavors. These breadsticks can also be frozen for later.
