  • 4 large eggs

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • Hot fudge sauce
  • Whipped cream
  • Nuts (optional)
  • Cherries (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Melt the butter and stir in the sugar until well combined.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, blending well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 pan and spread it evenly.
  7. Bake for about 30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  8. Once cooled for about 10 minutes, poke holes into the brownie surface and pour hot fudge sauce over the top.
  9. Serve warm with whipped cream, nuts, and cherries.
