½ cup unsalted butter
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
½ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine dark chocolate chips and unsalted butter. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring until melted and smooth.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted chocolate mixture with granulated sugar and mix well. Add eggs one at a time, mixing until fully incorporated.
Stir in vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually fold this mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until edges are set but centers look slightly soft. Let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
