Instructions

  1. Prepare the Ginger: Peel and slice about 1-2 inches of fresh ginger root.
  2. Boil the Water: In a small pot, bring 2 cups of water to a rolling boil over medium heat.
  3. Add the Ginger: Once the water is boiling, add the sliced or grated ginger to the pot. Allow it to steep for about 10 minutes.
  4. Strain: After steeping, pour the ginger tea through a fine mesh strainer into your favorite mug.
  5. Add Optional Ingredients: Stir in honey or lemon juice if desired.
