A simple yet indulgent dessert featuring rich chocolate, sweet coconut, and crunchy pecans, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 1 box of chocolate cake mix
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 cup of shredded coconut
  • 1 cup of chopped pecans
  • 1 can of German chocolate frosting

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, eggs, and water, stirring until just blended.
  3. Fold in the shredded coconut and chopped pecans.
  4. Pour the cake batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
  5. Spoon dollops of the German chocolate frosting on top and swirl or leave it as is.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Let the cake cool for at least 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
