Warm, garlicky, and irresistibly tender chicken bites, seared and finished in a rich garlic butter sauce, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
  • Lemon wedges, for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken pieces dry with paper towels and toss them in a bowl with paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken in a single layer and sear for 2 to 3 minutes until golden brown. Flip and cook for 3 to 4 more minutes until cooked through. Transfer cooked chicken to a plate.
  3. In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium and melt the butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Return the chicken to the skillet and toss to coat in the garlic butter sauce. Warm for another minute, then sprinkle with parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

For best color and flavor, use a hot skillet and do not move the chicken too soon while searing. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
