This garlic butter baked chicken breast is simple, comforting, and full of homey flavor, featuring tender chicken with a silky garlic butter sauce.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (58 oz. each), patted dry
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional)
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 23 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F.
  2. Pound the chicken to 1/2″ thickness using a meat mallet.
  3. Season the chicken on both sides with paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Mix the melted butter, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning in a small bowl.
  5. Optional: Sear the chicken breasts in olive oil until golden brown, about 2 minutes per side.
  6. Spoon the garlic butter sauce over the chicken and bake for 15-20 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  7. Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving with any remaining garlic butter.
