Delicious and fluffy Frosted Peanut Butter Cookies with a rich peanut butter flavor and sweet frosting, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, granulated sugar, egg, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until smooth.
  3. Drop cookie dough onto a lined baking sheet, leaving space between them.
  4. Bake for 10-12 minutes until slightly puffed and set.
  5. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  6. In a small bowl, mix powdered sugar and milk to make frosting.
  7. Once cookies are cool, frost each cookie with the icing.

Notes

Use parchment paper for easy removal and consider adding a sprinkle of crushed peanuts on top of the frosting for extra flavor.
