A delightful union of fluffy pancakes and savory sausage, perfect for breakfast or brunch gatherings.

  • 6 cups pancake mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 1 cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, crumble and cook the sausage until browned, about 8-10 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the pancake mix, milk, eggs, baking powder, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and pour half of the batter into the bottom. Sprinkle the cooked sausage over the batter.
  5. Pour the remaining batter over the sausage to cover it.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Remove from the oven and drizzle with maple syrup before slicing and serving.
