  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced or sliced
  • 12 oz bowtie pasta, dried
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions in salted boiling water. Drain and set aside, reserving some pasta water.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat until the butter melts.
  3. Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook until fragrant, about 30 to 60 seconds.
  4. Add diced chicken, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook until browned, about 6 to 8 minutes.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally.
  6. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and combine well.
  7. Toss cooked pasta in the skillet to coat with the sauce.
  8. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve hot.

Notes

Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best melting and flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
