A delightful recipe for soft and chewy cookies bursting with the rich flavors of chocolate and creamy vanilla, sprinkled with crunchy bits of Oreo.

  • 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups crushed Oreo cookies
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Fold in crushed Oreo cookies and chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  6. Drop rounded portions of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden and centers remain soft. Let cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes for thicker cookies. Use parchment paper to prevent sticking.
