A cozy dessert that transforms the classic cinnamon roll into a fluffy, moist cake, topped with a sweet glaze.

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter and granulated sugar until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add milk and eggs, whisking until fully incorporated.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and a dash of salt. Gradually fold this mixture into the wet ingredients.
  5. In another bowl, mix brown sugar and ground cinnamon for the filling.
  6. Pour half of the batter into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar mixture evenly on top, then pour the remaining batter and swirl gently.
  7. Bake for 30–35 minutes until the top is golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.

Notes

Store leftover cake in an airtight container for up to three days at room temperature. For longer storage, refrigerate.
