  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs (such as thyme or parsley) for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Rinse and pat the chicken thighs dry with a paper towel.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper; rub this seasoning mixture all over the chicken thighs.
  3. Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat; sear the chicken thighs skin-side down for about 5-7 minutes until golden and crispy.
  4. Flip the chicken thighs and sear for another 2-3 minutes.
  5. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for approximately 25-30 minutes or until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  6. Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes; garnish with fresh herbs if desired before serving.
