Comforting Chicken Alfredo served in a crunchy garlic bread bowl, perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 large loaf of crusty bread
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice off the top of the loaf and scoop out some of the inside to create a bowl shape.
  3. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter and sauté minced garlic for about 1 minute.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and stir while adding the Parmesan cheese. Allow the sauce to simmer for 3-5 minutes until thickened.
  5. Add shredded chicken to the sauce and season with salt and pepper. Stir to coat.
  6. Spoon the creamy mixture into the bread bowl, packing it in nicely.
  7. Place the stuffed bread bowl on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until crispy and golden brown.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored separately in an airtight container for 3-4 days. Reheat in the oven for best results.
