  • ½ cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, cardamom, and ginger.
  4. In a large bowl, cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  5. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  6. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  7. Drop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheets.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until edges are lightly golden.

Notes

For a crispier edge, consider using an air fryer. You can also easily double the recipe for larger crowds.
