Delightful cheesecake bars combining creamy cheesecake, sweet caramel, and tender apples, perfect for autumn gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups graham crackers, crushed
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 packages (16 oz total) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups apples, peeled and diced (preferably Granny Smith)
  • 1 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed graham crackers and melted butter, press into the bottom of the baking dish, and bake for about 10 minutes or until slightly golden. Allow to cool.
  3. In an electric mixer, beat the softened cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth. Add in sour cream and vanilla, mixing until incorporated.
  4. Gently fold in the diced apples to the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Pour the apple cheesecake filling over the cooled crust, spreading evenly.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the center is set with a slight jiggle.
  7. Allow to cool completely, drizzle with caramel sauce, and refrigerate for an hour before slicing.

Notes

These bars can be topped with a sprinkle of cinnamon or a dollop of whipped cream for added flavor.
