Ingredients
Scale
1 lb Ground Beef
1/2 cup Cooked Bacon, chopped
1/2 cup Panko Breadcrumbs
1 Egg
2 tablespoons Bourbon
1/2 cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded
1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
2 cloves Garlic, minced
1 teaspoon Onion Powder
Salt and Pepper, to taste
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or set your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, chopped bacon, panko breadcrumbs, cheddar cheese, egg, bourbon, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
Shape the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs and place them on a baking sheet or in the air fryer basket.
Bake for 20-25 minutes in the oven or air-fry for 15-18 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
Prepare a glaze by mixing equal parts bourbon and BBQ sauce in a saucepan over low heat.
Toss the cooked meatballs in the glaze or brush it on and return them to the oven for 5 minutes for a sticky finish.
Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
They can be made in advance and frozen for later use. Serve with dips like ranch or BBQ sauce.
