Delightful chocolate crinkle cookies with a soft, fudgy interior and a crisp outer layer, dusted with powdered sugar.

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • Powdered sugar for coating

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vegetable oil. Add eggs and vanilla extract, whisking until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  5. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  6. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Once chilled, form the dough into small balls and roll in powdered sugar.
  7. Place on the baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until puffed and crinkled. Allow to cool before enjoying.
