Banana Split Dump Cake

A nostalgic dessert combining bananas, chocolate, and nuts in an easy-to-make dump cake.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1 can (15 oz) of crushed pineapple (drained)
  • 1 cup of mini chocolate chips
  • 1 cup of chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
  • 1 box of yellow cake mix
  • 1 stick (1/2 cup) of unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with non-stick spray or butter.
  3. Layer sliced bananas, drained crushed pineapple, mini chocolate chips, and chopped nuts in the baking dish.
  4. Evenly sprinkle dry cake mix over the layered ingredients.
  5. Melt the stick of butter and pour it over the cake mix.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
  7. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve warm, preferably with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream. Can be customized with different ingredients.
