  • 1 box (15.25 oz) yellow or white cake mix
  • 1 stick (½ cup) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream (or 1 tub whipped topping)

  • ½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts
  • Optional: Chocolate syrup or melted chocolate for drizzling

Instructions

  2. In a 9×13 inch baking dish, layer the sliced bananas, drained crushed pineapple, and sliced strawberries evenly across the bottom.
  3. Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the layered fruit without stirring it.
  4. Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the top of the cake mix, ensuring good coverage.
  5. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and set.
  6. Allow the cake to cool slightly before serving.
  7. Serve warm with a generous dollop of whipped cream, topping with sliced bananas, fresh strawberries, and chopped nuts. Drizzle chocolate syrup if desired.
