A simple yet impressive dish with tender shrimp coated in a garlic butter mixture and topped with Parmesan.

Ingredients

  • 500 g large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 60 g unsalted butter, melted
  • 40 g freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 0.5 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 175°C and lightly grease a suitable baking dish.
  2. Arrange the shrimp in a single layer in the prepared baking dish.
  3. Mix the melted butter, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and paprika in a bowl.
  4. Pour the garlic butter mixture evenly over the shrimp.
  5. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the shrimp, then season with salt and black pepper.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving and enjoy with lemon wedges.

Notes

Make sure to use fresh shrimp for the best flavor. Do not overbake to avoid tough shrimp.
