Delightful cookies combining the warm, spiced aroma of fresh apples and cinnamon with melted chocolate chips, perfect for fall gatherings.

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup chopped apples (about 2 medium apples)
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Gradually add this to the wet ingredients.
  5. Gently fold in the chopped apples and chocolate chips.
  6. Scoop dollops of dough onto a lined baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  7. Cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
