A delightful fusion of tender potstickers in a rich, savory broth that warms the heart on chilly evenings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-inch piece ginger, minced
  • 6 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 package of frozen potstickers
  • 1 cup bok choy or spinach
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Soy sauce, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and ginger, stirring frequently for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  2. Pour in the chicken or vegetable broth and bring to a gentle simmer.
  3. Carefully drop in frozen potstickers, stirring gently to ensure they’re evenly spaced. Allow them to cook for 8-10 minutes, or until heated through.
  4. Toss in the bok choy or spinach and cook for another 2-3 minutes until wilted but vibrant in color.
  5. Drizzle soy sauce into the broth and adjust the flavor to taste.
  6. Ladle the warm soup into bowls, garnishing with sliced green onions.

Notes

Leftover soup can be stored in the refrigerator for 3 days or frozen for up to 1 month. Reheat gently to preserve textures.
