Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 package gelatin (any flavor)
  • 3 tablespoons sugar or sugar substitute
  • 1 pie crust (homemade or store-bought, low-calorie option recommended)

  2. Dissolve the gelatin: In a small bowl, combine 1 cup of boiling water with the gelatin, stirring well. Let sit for 5 minutes until fully dissolved.
  3. Mix the strawberries: In a mixing bowl, toss the sliced strawberries with sugar and let them macerate for about 10 minutes.
  4. Combine ingredients: Fold the melted gelatin into the strawberry mixture until the fruit is coated.
  5. Fill the pie crust: Pour the strawberry filling into the cooled pie crust and smooth the top.
  6. Chill: Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until the gelatin is set.
  7. Serve: Slice and serve chilled, garnished with whipped cream or extra strawberries if desired.

Notes
