Ingredients

  • 1 lb Pecan Halves
  • 1 Egg White
  • 1 tbsp Water
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 250 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Line a large baking pan with parchment paper.
  3. Whisk together the egg white, water, and vanilla extract until frothy.
  4. Add the pecan halves to the egg white mixture and toss until evenly coated.
  5. Mix the sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a separate bowl until well combined.
  6. Pour the sugar mixture over the pecans and toss to coat.
  7. Spread the pecans in a single layer on the baking pan.
  8. Bake for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool completely.
  10. Store in an airtight container.

Notes

Use room temperature egg white for better frothing. Once cooled, store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
