  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup salted caramel sauce
  • Flaky sea salt, for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until combined.
  6. Gently fold in the salted caramel sauce.
  7. Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a lined baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Drizzle more caramel sauce on top and sprinkle with flaky sea salt.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and the centers are slightly soft.
