These nostalgic Rice Krispie Treats feature soft, marshmallowy centers and crisp cereal for a classic treat that is perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 6 Tbsp Unsalted Butter, softened
  • 1/4 Tsp Kosher Salt
  • 2/3 Cup Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 12 Oz Mini Marshmallows
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 7 Cups Rice Krispie Cereal

Instructions

  1. Prepare a 9×13 inch pan by spraying it with butter cooking spray. Set aside.
  2. In a large pot over medium heat, melt the butter and add the kosher salt. Stir to combine.
  3. Add the sweetened condensed milk and stir until incorporated and warm.
  4. Add mini marshmallows and stir until fully melted, then remove from heat.
  5. Stir in vanilla extract until evenly distributed.
  6. Add Rice Krispie cereal and mix until well combined.
  7. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and gently press down.
  8. Let cool at room temperature for an hour.
  9. Remove from pan and cut into squares. Enjoy!

Store bars in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
