  • 1 cup whole milk
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 3 large eggs

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • ½ cup chopped pecans
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 4 cups powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease two 9-inch round cake pans with butter and dust with flour.
  3. In a medium bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and baking soda.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar using a stand mixer until fluffy.
  5. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then blend in the milk and vanilla extract.
