  • 1 cup fruit juice (100% juice or homemade)
  • Sweetener (honey, agave, or stevia to taste)
  • Citric acid (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Gather all your ingredients and choose your preferred fruit juice. If using whole fruits, blend and strain the juice before proceeding.
  2. Bloom Gelatin: In a small bowl, sprinkle 2 tablespoons of gelatin over 1/4 cup of cold fruit juice. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until it swells and becomes gelatinous.
  3. Heat Mixture: In a saucepan, combine the remaining 3/4 cup of fruit juice with your preferred sweetener. Heat over low flame, stirring gently until mixed well, without boiling.
  4. Combine: Once warm, stir in the bloomed gelatin until fully dissolved, ensuring there are no lumps.
  5. Mold: Pour the mixture into silicone molds or a shallow dish. If using a dish, cut into bite-sized cubes later.
  6. Refrigerate: Allow the molds to chill in the refrigerator for at least 120 to 180 minutes or until set completely.
  7. Enjoy: Once fully set, pop your gummies out of the molds. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
