Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can of refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine chopped pecans, brown sugar, corn syrup, vanilla extract, and salt; stir until mixed.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough on a lightly floured surface, keeping the triangle shapes intact.
  4. Place a generous tablespoon of the pecan mixture at the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Roll the triangle tightly towards the point and seal the edges by pinching them gently.
  6. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the crescents on it, spacing them about two inches apart.
  7. Bake for about 12-15 minutes until golden brown. Let them cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For a unique twist, try adding a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg to the filling.
