A delightful twist on traditional pecan pie, these Pecan Pie Crescents feature a buttery pastry filled with a rich, gooey pecan filling. Perfect for any occasion!

Ingredients

  • 1 can of crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped pecans, brown sugar, corn syrup, and vanilla extract. Mix well and set aside.
  3. Unroll the crescent dough on a lightly floured surface and separate it into triangles.
  4. Place a spoonful of the pecan mixture at the wide end of each triangle and roll it up tightly towards the pointed end.
  5. Whisk the egg in a small bowl and lightly coat the top of each crescent with the egg wash.
  6. Arrange the crescents on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving warm.
