  • Your favorite Jello flavor (sugar-free option available)
  • Water (as directed on Jello package)
  • Cool Whip or whipped topping
  • Optional fruits (e.g., berries)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare the cake mix according to the package instructions and pour into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  2. Once baked, remove the cake from the oven and let it cool for about 15 minutes.
  3. Use a fork or skewer to poke holes all over the top of the cake, about 1-inch apart.
  4. In a bowl, dissolve the Jello in boiling water as directed on the package. Allow it to cool slightly.
  5. Carefully pour the Jello mixture over the cake, ensuring it seeps into the holes.
  6. Refrigerate the cake for at least 2-3 hours, allowing the Jello to set.
  7. Spread a layer of Cool Whip over the cake and garnish with sliced fruit if desired. Slice and serve!
