A rich and creamy Alfredo sauce that’s perfect for pasta and other dishes.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 23 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • A pinch of nutmeg (optional)

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat until bubbly and slightly foamy.
  2. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and stir well; let it simmer gently for 3-5 minutes.
  4. Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and integrated.
  5. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg to taste.
  6. Serve immediately over cooked pasta or as desired.

Notes

If the sauce thickens too much, whisk in a tablespoon or two of pasta water to loosen it up.
