Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the whole wheat flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix applesauce, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and coconut oil.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Transfer the dough into a piping bag or resealable plastic bag with the corner snipped off.
  6. Pipe small bites of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, spacing them about an inch apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown and puffed up.
