  • 12 inches Fresh Ginger Root
  • 4 cups Water

Instructions

  1. Gather ingredients: You’ll need 1-2 inches of fresh ginger root and 4 cups of water.
  2. Prepare ginger: Peel the ginger and slice it thinly or grate it.
  3. Boil water: Pour 4 cups of water into a pot and bring to a boil.
  4. Add ginger: Remove the boiling water from heat and add the sliced or grated ginger.
  5. Steep: Allow to steep for 10-15 minutes, tasting to achieve your preferred intensity.
  6. Strain & cool: Strain the ginger pieces out and refrigerate or add ice if you prefer cold ginger water.
  7. Serve & enjoy: Pour into a glass and add lemon or honey if desired.

Notes
