Ingredients

  • Juice of half a lemon
  • 1 tablespoon honey (or maple syrup for vegan option)
  • 1 cup hot water

Instructions

  1. Gather fresh ginger, lemon, honey, and hot water.
  2. Grate the ginger using a microplane or fine grater.
  3. Heat water to around 160°F.
  4. Mix grated ginger with the hot water and steep for 5 minutes.
  5. Strain to remove ginger pieces, then stir in lemon juice and honey.
  6. Enjoy warm or chill for a refreshing iced version.
  7. Garnish with a slice of lemon or a sprinkle of cinnamon if desired.

Notes
