A refreshing low-calorie treat that combines fruit juice and gelatin, perfect for satisfying sweet cravings while supporting weight loss.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fruit juice (100% fruit juice preferred)
  • 2 tablespoons gelatin (or agar-agar for vegan option)
  • 1 cup water
  • Sweetener (optional, e.g. honey or stevia)

Instructions

  1. Select your favorite fruit juices, about 2 cups, for flavor.
  2. In a small bowl, mix 2 tablespoons of gelatin with 1 cup of cold water and let it sit for 5 minutes.
  3. In a saucepan, gently heat the remaining 1 cup of fruit juice until warm but not boiling (around 160°F, approximately 2-3 minutes).
  4. Remove the saucepan from heat, add the bloomed gelatin, and stir until fully dissolved (about 1-2 minutes).
  5. Pour the mixture into molds or a shallow dish and refrigerate for at least 2-4 hours until set.
  6. Once set, gently remove the gelatin from molds and enjoy your refreshing snack!

Notes

Customize flavors by using different fruit juices. Ensure no boiling occurs to retain nutrients.
