A comforting and flavorful shredded chicken recipe made effortlessly in a slow cooker, perfect for tacos, sandwiches, or salads.

  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts at the bottom of the crockpot and sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper over them.
  2. Pour the chicken broth over the seasoned chicken.
  3. Cover and set the slow cooker to low for 6-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours.
  4. After cooking, check if the chicken shreds easily with two forks.
  5. Remove the chicken, shred it, and mix it back into the juices in the crockpot.
  6. Serve immediately or cool and store for later use.
