  • 1 box (15.25 oz) chocolate cake mix
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) melted butter
  • 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish or pan.
  3. Spread the dry chocolate cake mix evenly over the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  4. Pour the melted butter over the dry cake mix, ensuring it is evenly distributed.
  5. Drizzle the evaporated milk over the entire mixture.
  6. Sprinkle the chocolate chips on top.
  7. Drizzle the caramel sauce over the chocolate chips.
  8. Gently swirl the ingredients together with a spoon or spatula, but do not mix completely.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the cake is set and the edges are golden.
  10. Allow the cake to cool slightly before serving.
