A cozy, flavor-packed casserole inspired by the Crunchwrap Supreme, featuring seasoned meat, gooey cheese, and crunchy tortilla chips.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 can refried beans
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3 cups tortilla chips
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes or salsa
  • Optional toppings: sour cream, guacamole, green onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground meat over medium heat until cooked through; drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in the taco seasoning with water and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the refried beans, half of the shredded cheese, and tomatoes.
  5. In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, layer half of the tortilla chips.
  6. Spread the meat mixture over the chips, then top with the refried bean mixture and remaining tortilla chips.
  7. Finish with the rest of the shredded cheese and bake for 25-30 minutes.

Notes

For added flavor, consider adding jalapeños for spice or swapping in your favorite proteins and vegetables.
